Riccione Terme boasts sulphurous waters and a skilled medical team. The spa establishment gives guests the possibility to take targeted wellness itineraries to prevent and treat different kinds of pathologies or simply relax.
HINTERLAND
The territory is full of entertainment opportunities and places of interest, such as the small villages of the hinterland, starting from the nearby and renowned Gradara, with the famous castle of Paolo and Francesca, and the even more famous San Marino Republic or the medieval village of Mondaino, where every summer the famous historical re-enactment "Il Palio del Daino" takes place.
Further inland, there are magical villages such as Santarcangelo di Romagna, San Leo and Verucchio.
Santarcangelo is a rich town that offers, in addition to a pleasant historic centre, also many shops and entertainment opportunities, from clubs in the center to renowned restaurants.
San Leo is instead one of the most beautiful hamlets in Italy and not by chance: perched on a rock you can, from here, admire a memorable landscape and visit the ancient military fortress where the famous alchemist Cagliostro was held prisoner.
Verucchio, on the other hand, is the cradle of the Malatesta family: its fortress dominates the entire landscape below and from the top you can admire most of the coast and the sea. Also worth mentioning is the town museum, which houses Etruscan finds of considerable importance.
